Person-Centered Thinking Training
Virtual training is conducted over three days at 4 hours per day in person is two 8 hour days
This training is an introduction to Person-Centered Thinking concepts, language and tools. Participants will develop skills to use person-centered tools in day-to-day work as well as developing person-centered thinking skills and practices to incorporate into their current skill set. The training is highly participatory and will provide practical applications of all skills and tools introduced. Participants will receive a workbook and certificate of completion from The Learning Community for Person-Centered Practices.
Home and Community Based Services Explained
Training is Virtual or in person with a length of 2 hours
This training provides a basic overview of the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule. Participants will gain an understanding of how the Final Rule was enacted, how it impacts our service delivery system and what we need to do to reach compliance. This is an introductory workshop to the HCBS Final Rule.
Writing Smarter Plans-How to Write Plans from a Person-Centered Perspective
Training is Virtual or in person with a length of 3 hours
This workshop will provide participants with the information needed to write more comprehensive goals and objectives from a Person-Centered perspective with the individuals they support. The workshop will introduce the S.M.A.R.T.I.E. Goal concept and how it is applied to writing support plans. Participants will practice writing S.M.A.R.T.I.E. Goals and receive a workbook of materials to take back to their day-to-day work.

Real Talk Workshop Series-Friendships, Relationships and Beyond
Training will be offered Virtually or in person. This is a series of workshops for individuals and those that support them on friendships, sexuality and safety within those relationships. Each workshop is 2 hours in length.
